Fridays are just plain good… and the First Friday of a month is usually better, since FFs often have lot’s of extra activities packed into them.
And our garden seems to be no exception. It’s going crazy again! Here are some photos of our garden’s fruits of today! WOW!
And, a special thanks to everybody who makes it happen.

The 2011 Wine + Food festival was great fun for all of us at Our Local Foods. We were fortunate enough to be able to exhibit in the main tent this year, and were also represented in the Lowcountry Local First Booth. We had a lot of people come by the booth to learn about our organic farming and Kitchen Table Cuisine, our local food delivery service. Pretty much everybody tried the soup (and the water). There is a mind boggling amount going on at the show: an array of the most wonderful foods, beverages of all types, shows and booths in the exhibition areas and at the special event. And of course, there are a lot of people just out having fun!

It’s hard to pick a favorite event that occurred during the show, but one of our favorite events was the closing BBQ Bash- This event is on closing night (Sunday) and features live music, more than 12 different recipes for BBQ (including grilled fish), beverages, and friendly people! If you’re planning to go to the Wine+Food Festival next year, mark your calendar for the beginning of March… The images of our booth are courtesy of Jason Kaumeyer (Thanks Jason!).
