THE 2012 CSA SIGNUP IS UNDERWAY. PLEASE EMAIL US to sign up (Please include your name and contact info). We are excited to offer a winter CSA share this year, beginning the week of January 18th, 2012. Enjoy the opportunity to eat local, organic veggies all year long! We have put in high tunnels on the farm so that we can now grow through all of the seasons (yes, we are grinning from ear to ear)! Please expect a selection of vegetables from the following list of things growing in the winter each week: swiss chard, broccoli raab, napa cabbage, bok choy, kale, collards, spinach, arugula, carrots, turnips, beets, rutabaga, broccoli, peas, pea tendrils, and salad mix. As we move into the spring we will begin harvesting green beans, squash and strawberries.About Quantity:Medium CSA share – will comprise of 5-6 pounds of produce weekly, and should be sufficient for 2.
Large CSA share – will comprise of 8-9 pounds of produce weekly, and should be sufficient for 4.If you are a heavy vegetable consumer (great!!), then adjust your expectations accordingly. We are happy to discuss quantity further if you would like to contact us.
