Community Supported Agriculture Shares from Thornhill Farm “Certified Organic” CSA shares are harvested weekly at the farm, divided up among our shareholders, and delivered to pickup locations throughout the lowcountry. We hope you enjoy receiving the freshest produce of the season from the farm as one of our valued subscribers! Spring and Summer plantings are under way! It’s the most exciting time of year in the garden. Join us in the food revolution that is happening at Our Local Foods by sharing in our Community Supported Agriculture!! Please expect a selection of vegetables from the following list of things growing in the garden this year: Spring – spring greens like swiss chard, kale, collards, and spinach, napa cabbage, green cabbage, broccoli, bok choy, arugula, carrots, turnips, beets, onions, garlic, peas, pea tendrils, lettuces, radishes, and strawberries. Summer – beans (beautiful heirlooms), squash (summer yellow, zucchini and heirlooms), cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, melons, eggplants, okra, corn and more! About Quantity: Medium CSA share – will comprise of 5-6 pounds of produce weekly, and should be sufficient for 2. **If you are a heavy vegetable consumer (great!!), then adjust your expectations accordingly. We are happy to discuss quantity further if you would like to contact us.
